It was a warm day and fresh Gatorade had to be made frequently.

Nobody encountered any snakes or other dangerous critters in the woods, but there were ground squirrels and tiny toads...

...and the deer that came out near camp headquarters each evening.

On Saturday evening, everyone gathered at PVSR's Kephart Dining Hall for the traditional banquet and medal ceremony.  Lots of hand-washing stations are outside the main entrance.

The dining hall is filled and everyone is ready to eat.

Dinner was catered by Bennett's Barbecue, a local favorite.  At the head of the line in this photo are Ken Harker WM5R and Jen Harker W5JEN.  Being from Texas, they know a thing or two about barbecue.
