As has been the tradition since the First IARU Region 2 ARDF Championships in 1999, Ardee Fox presided over the finish area.


Closing ceremonies on the campus Saturday night featured VIP speakers such as ARRL Great Lakes Division Director Jim Weaver K8JE.


Jennifer Harker W5JEN of Austin, TX receives her gold for category D21 on 80m.


Gold medalist in F50 on both bands was Martha Carr KG4WVM, a Georgia Orienteering Club member.


Karla Leach KC7BLA accepts her silver medals for both bands in the D50 category. She served as a juror at the last ARDF World Championships.


Emil Mayeva, the 13-year-old son of Nadia Mayeva, earned gold on two meters and silver on 80 meters in IARU Region 2 Division, M19 category.


Capturing gold on two meters and silver on 80m in M21 was Sam Smith N4MAP of Georgia. He could have run in a higher age category, but he wanted to find all five transmitters.


Vadim Afonkin, who learned ARDF in Russia before moving to the USA, got silver on two meters and bronze on 80m in M21 category.


Scott Moore KF6IKO of Santa Barbara has improved his performance greatly in recent months because of diligent practice. He earned bronze medals on both bands in IARU Region 2 Division, M40 category.


Jay Hennigan WB6RDV of Goleta, California has been a mobile T-hunter for many years. This year, he went into training and became the surprise winner of gold medals in M50 category on both 80 and two meters.


Event Co-Chair Bob Frey WA6EZV awards a bronze medal to Marvin Johnston KE6HTS of Santa Barbara for his two-meter performance in M50 category. Marvin has represented USA in the last three ARDF World Championships.


Vernon Hammersley WA9FFZ proudly wears bronze medals for 2m and 80m in M60 category.


This was the second USA ARDF Championships for Don Pitchford W9EBK. He is wearing his silver medal for 80 meters, IARU Region 2, M40 category.


There were plenty of other things to do while vacationing in in Ohio, including the Air Force Museum in Dayton. This unique covered bridge, built in 1868, is just north of Oxford.
