After the hunt, Dale Hunt WB6BYU and Kuon Hunt KB7WRG reviewed their route choices.


For the classic events, Brian DeYoung K4BRI and Matthew Robbins AA9YH used FjwW software, which provided each competitor with a printout of times and route.  It also gave an audio greeting to each incoming runner that included elapsed time and standing in category so far.  Brian and Matthew were course designers and setters for the two classic events.


April Moell WA6OPS was kept busy treating minor wounds and rashes.


After a box lunch, everyone gathered for the 80-meter classic awards.  Bob Frey passed them out, assisted by translator Mengbing Li.  As usual, the Chinese visitors displayed the flag as Visitor Division medals were presented.


Kuon Hunt KB7WRG and Ruth Bromer WB4QZG medalled in W60 category, Region 2 Division.


Dick Arnett WB4SUV, Harley Leach KI7XF and Bob Cooley KF6VSE were best in M70 category, Region 2 Division.


In M60 category, Region 2 Division, the medalists were Dale Hunt WB6BYU, Joseph Huberman K5JGH and Nick Roethe DF1FO.


Jennifer Harker W5JEN was bronze medalist in W35 category, Region 2 Division.


Scott Moore KF6IKO and Bill Wright WB6CMD received medals for their performances in M50 category, Region 2 Division.


As everyone prepared to go home, some of the Chinese students proudly displayed their school's banner.
