Opening ceremonies took place in front of this large sign.


These model rockets were launched as part of the opening ceremony.


The 80-meter classic was the first competitive event.  Ruth Bromer WB4QZG punches in at the finish.


Next day was the sprint event.  Ruth is at the map table preparing her map shortly before her start.


In the red, white and blue top is Joseph Huberman K5JGH, ready to start the sprint.


Here is Joseph at the finish of that event.


Joseph (at right) won the bronze on 80 meters.


Ruth was the gold medalist in W60 category for every event.


Electronic scoring was used for all competitions, and participants could see the results on a monitor in real time.
